WIA Profile: Natasha Pierson

This month, WIA profiles Chaturbate’s Event Administrator, Natasha Pierson — a dynamic professional who combines her love of travel, desire to help others and a keen willingness to learn and grow, to make her role at the company a positive one that serves as an inspiration to her peers.

To gain insights into her career path at the well-known camming brand, where she partners with COO Shirley Lara to empower models, XBIZ turned to the Woman of the Month for April to learn more about her personal journey, her motivations and her plans for the future:

In order to develop relationships, I have to be creative, open-minded and empower women in the industry.

XBIZ: What did you do before joining the adult industry and why did you choose adult as a career path?

Pierson: Before working in the adult industry I worked in the wine industry in Southern California. After graduating from college, I began searching for a career where I could use my communications degree and perhaps find the dream job that I always envisioned I’d have one day.

XBIZ: What attracted you to joining the Chaturbate team and how has your role for the company evolved?

Pierson: What attracted me to join the Chaturbate team was the opportunity to be involved in events where I could meet people from around the world. Traveling is an added plus. I love that my role has evolved into more responsibilities as I learn from the challenges I encounter.

XBIZ: Working closely with someone as experienced as Shirley Lara must be highly educational on many levels. Is there a lesson that you’ve learned from her or from elsewhere in the company that can benefit all women in adult?

Pierson: Shirley Lara is a wonderful mentor who encourages me to have an open mind and have a willingness to learn. I admire how she engages with the public and exudes confidence in all she does. Her attitude is contagious and I hope to learn all I can from her.

XBIZ: How do you develop strong industry relationships on behalf of Chaturbate?

Pierson: Developing relationships is crucial in this industry and it takes a certain attitude to put it all together. In order to develop relationships, I have to be creative, open-minded and empower women in the industry.

XBIZ: What is the biggest challenge you’ve overcome in your work and the best score you’ve made in this industry?

Pierson: The biggest challenge is being able to meet the needs of all the people that are part of Chaturbate and beyond. The best score is that I am learning to embrace and adapt to industry shifts.

XBIZ: Is there anything else on your plate, business-wise?

Pierson: At this time, I’m enjoying the experience working at Chaturbate and giving it all my attention.

XBIZ: What does a typical workday look like?

Pierson: I love that every day is a new day and I have different tasks to deal with. The typical everyday duties include answering emails and posting on social media. The different expos require me to plan and prepare in advance and make sure all the logistics are in place so that the expos go smoothly.

XBIZ: What does a day off look like — or is it a matter of all work and no play?

Pierson: My motto is, “Work hard, play hard.” I love to travel, be active, meet new people and just relax at home with my fiancé, family and friends.

XBIZ: How do you stay motivated and what do you define as “achieving success” in your life?

Pierson: I find motivation by staying active and being a friend to all those that I meet. Being successful in life, to me, means that as long as I am out of my comfort zone, then I know that I am learning. Challenging myself to be better than the previous day motivates me.

XBIZ: What does 2020 hold for your work at Chaturbate and your personal life beyond?

Pierson: I’m looking forward to the expos coming up this year as I know I will be learning and meeting new people. I am continuously trying to improve and grow with Chaturbate and look forward to what 2020 holds. I am eager to marry at the end of the year and begin a new chapter in my life as well.
